Laser Technician course combines the training offered in Level 1 and Level 2 laser training and is delivered both online and in the treatment room. Students will have hands-on training using the state-of-the-art Cynosure Icon machine for the laser hair removal portion of the course.
Upon the first part of this course, students will be confident in all aspects of laser science and safety, skin typing, anatomy, different types of laser devices as well as an understanding of the importance of chromophores and how they respond to laser and IPL treatments. Regular theory reviews will be done online with an educator prior to each chapter test and students will continue to advance through the course once they have met the minimum grade standards.

Building on these fundamentals, students will learn photo-facials, non-ablative fractional treatment for stretch marks and the newest Flexsure radio frequency machine for skin tightening and body contouring. Our years-long relationship with Cynosure Laser, gives our students access to learn using only state-of-the-art IPL, Laser & Radio Frequency machines and the opportunity for employment through Cynosure clinic placements.
Students will be trained on a Cynosure Icon for hair removal and pigmentation, the Cynosure Icon 1540 laser for non-ablative fractional treatment for stretch marks and scar reduction and the Flexsure Radio Frequency machine, which is the world's first wrappable RF machine for skin tightening and body contouring.

All hands-on training will be done in our medi-spa to enhance the students' experience of working in a spa environment under the guidance of their educator. Students are taught by a medical esthetician specializing in skin and laser treatments, and also works regularly with clients at Total Wrapture Medi Spa, winner of the 2020 and 2021 Top Choice Award for a best skin clinic in Winnipeg and the winner of the 2021 Consumer Choice Award for best medi spa in Winnipeg.
